JUNE 9 2017 - PRESS RELEASE
EMRI presents the best fiscal year in the company’s history. After completing some difficult years during the financial crisis, the now 45-year-old business presents the company’s best revenue ever.
Herlev, June 9 2017 – In the maritime industry, where many companies have experienced a crisis over the past many years, EMRI has managed to maintain a steady course with a full order book. Claus Nørtoft Thomsen, CEO at EMRI, says:
“We have been busy and have probably been one of the few companies in the industry who have been lucky with a large order intake. People know us as a company that supplies quality on time and this reputation has helped us through a period, which has been difficult for many competitors”
With a turnover of DKK 55 million in the fiscal year 2016-17, EMRI can look back on a year with full steam ahead on development, production and delivery based on a staff of skilled and dedicated employees. The turnover of DKK 55 million is more than a doubling of revenue in 2012-13. The extra production has meant that EMRI has had to hire more new employees in 2016 and the future order book means that EMRI can continue this positive development in 2017-18.
