EMRI MOVES TO NEW DOMICILE | October 31, 2024

EMRI A/S hosted today hundreds of VIP guests to celebrate the opening of the company´s new domicile in Skovlunde, just outside Copenhagen.

CEO, Morten Novak Bro, welcomed the guests: “Welcome to EMRI’s new home! The last three years have been an incredible journey. With the support of Furuno, we have been able to more than double the number of employees, to grow revenues by 50%, invest in the development of new products, and move to these fantastic new offices.

We are working from a joint Furuno and EMRI plan. We are combining the traditional EMRI with the new ideas and ways of working that our new employees are bringing in.
Furuno is supporting this with funding, technology and sales networks.
Together, this offers us tremendous opportunities going forward.“

Managing Executive Officer, Mr. Kazuma Waimatsu, stressed in his speech that: “EMRI and FURUNO have had a longstanding relationship with the commercial ship business, and EMRI has even engaged in OEM production of products for Furuno.

In 2020, we acquired EMRI with the aim to tackle the challenges I just mentioned collaboratively

Our acquisition of EMRI is a clear demonstration of our commitment to not only addressing these pressing issues but also seeking innovative solutions that will shape the future of our industry. We intend to enhance our development capabilities by acquiring new talent and aim to develop groundbreaking products and services.

Today, we gather here not just to celebrate the opening of our new office but to commemorate the growth and progress that this move symbolizes. This new office embodies our commitment to continuous innovation, our dedication to providing unparalleled services, and our unyielding resolve to make a positive impact on the communities we serve.“
