EMRI AT SMM2026 | SEPTEMBER 1-4, 2026

EMRI – Simple Solutions for Complex Maneuvers

At SMM 2026, EMRI will showcase its latest vessel control solutions, combining proven technology with practical innovations designed to improve safety, operational efficiency and ease of use.

Visitors can experience the new AutoPilot Mini Display, providing a compact and flexible operator interface, together with our latest SpeedPilot solution for precise speed control.

One of the highlights is AnchorPilot – a simple and intuitive StayPut solution designed to reduce the operator’s workload during waiting situations, or whenever anchoring is not permitted or not practical. Built on the EMRI Pilot platform, it can be integrated directly into an armrest, for example in the captain’s chair, providing intuitive operation exactly where it is needed.

AnchorPilot automatically maintains the vessel’s position (station keeping) while allowing the operator to control the vessel’s heading. Heading can either be aligned automatically with the wind direction or adjusted manually using a joystick tiller. As a complementary system, it does not require a DP operator certificate, making it an easy-to-use solution for a wide range of vessels.

Visitors will also discover how EMRI’s AutoPilot provides Heading Control using Bow Thrusters for vessels operating between 2 and 5 knots, improving heading performance when rudder effectiveness is limited.

In addition, EMRI will showcase its proven Joystick Dynamic Positioning (JS/DP), Steering and Control Systems.

Visit EMRI at the FURUNO stand to discover how simple solutions can make complex vessel operations easier.
