End of life

EMRI provides security updates for the AIA12, delivered as the new releases listed on this page, until the product is declared end of life. An end-of-life announcement is made in advance and states the date after which security updates stop.

Check the file before you install it

Each version above shows the SHA-256 checksum of its firmware file. Before you install the file, work out the checksum of the file you downloaded and compare it with the value on this page. They must be identical.

On Linux or macOS:

sha256sum <the file you downloaded>

On Windows, in Command Prompt:

certutil -hashfile <the file you downloaded> SHA256

If the two values are not identical, do not install the file. Download it again, and if it still does not match, contact EMRI. Each release also has a .sha256 file stored next to its download if you prefer to verify with a script, but the value to trust is the one printed on this page: a checksum fetched from the same place as the file cannot tell you that the file in that place has been changed.
